Weekend Happenings

Hello my sweet friends, hope you are all doing well. Eddie was off Friday-Sunday, so we were able to get some errands done. We went to the post office, and mailed my sister a package. We went to visit my dad, went to the bank, and cashed in my coins. $50.00, woo hoo!! And, lastly, we went to eat at I.H.O.P. I enjoyed the time with Eddie, it was really nice. I finally found out what size ring I wear. I have been very frustrated, because I cannot wear any of my rings any more. Including the rings my momma left me, they slide off of my finger. So, I asked the lady that works at Walmart in the jewelry department, if she could please tell me what size ring I wear. She measured my finger, and said I wear a size 5 and a half. I am so happy to finally know. Take care everybody.

Time With My Dad

Well, I had a really nice day. Eddie was off today, so we were able to get several errands taken care of. When we were finished with the errands, we went to visit my dad. He always makes me smile, we had a nice visit. We had a nice talk, got caught up on things. Sharing a picture, sure do love him.

Going Up,Up, Up!!

Good Morning everyone, hope you all have a very blessed day. Well our rent went up by twenty five dollars, and our car insurance and renters insurance went up by ten dollars. Our dream is to have a house, we have always lived in an apartment. We have lived in this apartment for seventeen years. I seriously doubt if we will ever be able to get a house, due to really bad credit because of so many medical bills. I am not complaining, I am blessed. I have a roof over my head, clothes, food, a car, even though it is seventeen years old. The car gets us where we need to go. My husband has a good job, and is physically doing well. I have cheated death many times, so I am definitely blessed with just being alive. I wish I could find a job so I could help my husband financially. I admit, I feel very useless due to my health. It hurts when I think about how I use to be. But, I am who I am. God is with me daily, loving me, and guiding me. If I had to live under a bridge I would, because I know God would be right there with me, loving me, and watching over me. What else could I possibly need!!! 

Pain

To get over your pain, you must go through it first. I am thankful for the painful times in my life, They teach me valuable lessons. I have learned that I am stronger than I realize. God never leaves me alone in those valley moments, and when He is ready, He lifts me up and sets me up on the mountain. Once I am back upon the mountain, He continues to take daily care of me. God I praise You, and give You all the glory. Go God GO!!

Things I Like

Happy Sunday everyone, pray you are all doing well, and enjoying your day. It is raining here in Chattanooga Tennessee. So, we are just having a lazy day, resting. Thought I would share some things that I like with you. I love for my apartment to smell really good, so I love candles, incense, wax melts, diffusers, plug ins, ect  Some of my favorite scents are rose, tropical, gardenia, honeysuckle. I also love potpurria, rose is my favorite scent in that. I love to drink cups of tea, yummy. Some of my favorite flavors are honey vanilla chamomile, lemon chamomile, lavender chamomile, and apple cinnamon. Very soothing and enjoyable. I enjoy flavored oatmeal, strawberry, and blueberry are my favorite. I love lotions, baby powder, perfumes, enjoy smelling nice. I love devotions, and journals. I love writing poems. I really love cooking, always have. Speaking of cooking, it is about time to start supper. Tonight, we are having cornbread, Salsbury steak, corn, cream potatoes, and sweet peas.

Sick Days

Hello everyone, sorry I have been missing in action for about a week. I have been laying in bed, so very sick. I go to my Doctor this Wednesday, thank God. Will keep you all updated about the Doctor visit. Please say a pray for me. I know we will be able to cheer about the results, Go God!!!!

Woo Hoo

Woo Hoo!! Join my cheerleading squad, we cheer for the Lord. He always encourages us, we need to let Him know how very appreciative we are. He is the greatest, always cheer Him on.

Prayer Request

Everyone that will, please pray for Eddie to quit smoking. His Doctor and I really want him to quit. He smokes cigars all the time, drives me nuts. It is so bad for us both. I want his heart to remain strong, God has been so good to him so far. I am on an inhaler, and have to use a nebulizer three times a day. My lungs are totally shot, his smoking does not help. He does not believe in second hand smoke damage. Would truly appreciate the prayers. He has a follow-up appointment with his heart Doctor on February 17. I pray he will quit by then. Thanks, love you all.

God Is In The Miracle Business

Well, Eddie had his arteriorgram yesterday. Thanks to everyone that prayed for him, truly appreciate you all. No blockages at all, did not have to have any stents put in. The Doctor said his heart is strong, the stress test was wrong. He has an appointment with the Doctor in a month. He is off until Monday. We are praising God for taking such great care of him. Woo Hoo!!

Snow Day, Slow Day

Hello from Tennessee everyone. We got two inches of snow here last night, and it is slowly melting now. It is very cold today, 17 degrees. Brrrrr, I am freezing, cannot handle cold weather very well. I was sick all night, and morning. My blood sugar was over 6oo, really dehydrated, drank like a fish, gulp, gulp! Threw up, mouth very dry, headache, stomach hurting, in other words, miserable!!Thank God, I am feeling better now. We have to go to the pharmacy, and grocery shopping. Definitely have to use my wheelchair today, totally wore out. Thanks for Your precious provision Father. I love You so much.

Five Minute Friday-Connect

Eddie's Doctor's Appointment

Eddie's cardiologist appointment was this afternoon. His pacemaker is having problems, and the stress test showed abnormalities. If left untreated, it could be lethal. Wednesday, he has to have an arteriorgram at 12:30. They are quite sure he has a blockage, they are planning on putting a stent in his heart. Am I scared? Of course, this man has been my better have for 33  years, this coming April 6th. But, I am placing him gently in the hands of our Father, and totally trusting Him to take care of Eddie. In our Father's hands, is the safest place for him to be. Please join me in praying for Eddie. I love you all.

Rollercoaster Ride

Life is like a rollercoaster, filled with many ups and downs. We can choose to hold on tightly, and enjoy the ride. Or, we can choose to complain the entire time, making our life's even worse. I have chosen to hold on, no matter what. I use to see people riding on a rollercoaster, and they would hold their hands up above their heads. I would think to myself, are they crazy? But, now, I truly realize, they were not crazy, just very confident. I have grown to be confident in my life's ride. My ride has almost come to an end several times recently, but, thanks to God, I am still here, and get to keep on riding. I am having fun on this ride. Look, no hands, God is holding my hands up, way up towards heaven!!  

Hope

In your life, does hope float for awhile, then sink to the bottom of the ocean? Well, those days need to come to an end. Your hope needs to be found in God, anchored to Him forever. Your hope does not need to be found in the world, the world will always let you down. But, God will always lift you up, in good, and bad times. Let our anthem forever be, my hope is in my Father God.

Updating You

Hello, several of you have been wondering how I am feeling. Thought I would get you all an update on me, lovebug, and sweet coco. On Halloween, lovebug came in from work, and found me passed out on the floor, had been laying there for about two hours. He called an ambulance, when they got here, checked my blood sugar, it was 10. I should have been dead, God had other plans. Last time I was in the hospital, was from December 18-23. Was in ICU the entire time due to my diabetes, blood pressure, and lungs. Lovebug had to go for a stress test, it showed some abnormalities, so he is probably going to have to have

an arteriorgram to check for heart blockages, please pray. Coco is her loving self, watching over me. She had to go today for an exam, and her shots. She passed with flying colors, she was very good. Sharing some pictures, love you all.

New Year-New Word

Well, I have chosen the word healing to be my word for 2017. I am truly aware that God can, and will heal me, in everyway. I have felt His precious healing power. My life is in His hands, let the healing waters begin to flow!!

Sorry I have been gone for so long, my life has truly been a roller coaster ride. I  know several have left my blog. I do not blame you, I understand. But, please consider coming back.
