Throw Back Thursday

My cousin recently sent me a picture from years ago. In the picture is my cousin Connie, her mom, which is my aunt Louise. My aunt Barbara, who I am named after. My name is Barbara Denise. My sister Vicky, A friend of the family, Beverely, and my precious mama, Opal. It was taken at my mama's apartment. She was so very happy back then. My husband and I lived a few doors down from her, so I was blessed to see her daily. It breaks my heart to see all of the ones in the picture that are no longer here. Both of my aunts are gone, Beverely is gone, and my precious mama is gone. But, I carry her with me in my heart, always. My mama is the one sitting on the end of the bed, wearing glasses, and dressed in blue. I love you beautiful angel mama.

  6. Thanks for visiting my blog :)

What a sweet picture; it is so sad when our family ages and they start passing. My mom came from a family of 10 children and she was the last one who passed. What is sad too is when cousins start passing. Good reminder that life is short so try to live each day the best one can.
