Update On My Father In Law

Well, my father in-law had several tests done yesterday, bless his heart. This is what we know so far. He had a stroke in his eyes, behind his optic nerve, and has several blocked arteries remaining in his eyes. He has macular degeneration, of which there is no cure. Glasses are no longer an option for him. The Doctor said there is nothing they can do for him. He has to go Monday for testing on the arteries in his neck. As you can imagine, we are all completely devastated over this news. Bill cried at the Doctor's office yesterday, so heart breaking. Please pray for Bill, and the family.

  2. I'm so sorry. Life is hard and the struggles we go through overwhelm us sometimes. Praying for the tests on Monday to be a better report and the macular degeneration to be treated as best as possible. It is so hard to see our loved ones suffering.

  9. Hi Denise! My dad has macular degeneration too, and he really is sad about losing his eyesight as well. I'm sure your FIL is in mourning for his vision. I pray that his tests will now be better, and he will have some good news.
What a great thing it is to have faith at times like these.
    Blessings,
    Ceil
